Alienware Aurora 5500 Notebook Reviewed

If you have two thousand dollars to spend on a gaming notebook then you should take a look at the Alienware Aurora 5500 that [H]ard|OCP looked at today on their consumer site. If you like to build your own stuff be sure to check out the LR article on building your own here.
The hardware in the Aurora 5500 is solid, and they?re willing to back it up when things go wrong. Everything from gaming to productivity works well on this machine and this is certainly a worthy specimen of the OEM breed. For what we got, we felt we paid a little too much. We thought at first that Alienware seemed to agree because they dropped their prices dramatically when they introduced the 7600 and 7900 series video cards. But they quickly raised their prices again.
