Corsair Announces New High-Speed USB 3.0 Flash Drives
Corsair today announced the availability of USB 3.0 versions of their award-winning Flash Voyager GT, Flash Voyager, and Flash Survivor product lines. Those that want the most performance they can get should look at the Flash Voyager GT, which is pretty quick. The 64GB Flash Voyager GT model has a maximum read speed of 135 MB/sec and a maximum write speed of 83 MB/sec. For those looking at mainstream performance you’ll be happy to know that Corsair changed the ergonomics of the Flash Voyager USB 3.0 and it has a new redesigned body style. With a length of just 73mm (vs. 100mm for the previous version) and a width of 22mm (vs. 26mm), the new design is sleeker and more comfortable to use than the previous USB 2.0 models. Wrapped in the same rubber housing as previous Flash Voyager models, these new drives provide the same durability and data protection the Flash Voyager line is known for.
