BitFenix Launches Outlaw PC Gaming Case at $49

Today, gaming hardware designer BitFenix launched its latest gaming chassis called the Outlaw. The BitFenix Outlaw is a mid-tower ATX enclosure that offers premium features, innovative layout, and superior styling at a groundbreaking price point of just $49. We have to say that it doesn’t look half bad for a sub $50 case either! The most interesting feature on this case is that BitFenix reversed the motherboard tray, so the motherboard is located on the left side and the right side panel opens.

But looking good is one thing; performing well is another. Outlaw is definitely no slouch in the cooling department. Aside from the stock 120mm fan, gamers can install up to 7 additional 120mm fans for a total of eight, and the two fan locations on the side panel can also be upgraded to 140mm fans for added airflow. For water cooling enthusiasts, two water cooling holes also come standard. You will not find cutting edge features like USB 3.0, docking stations and cutouts in the motherboard tray for easily remove CPU coolers on the Outlaw, but for $49 or 39 (incl. 19% VAT), we didn’t expect to find features like those. It does bring all of the basic features to the table and you can see more of them in the video below.

“We set out to design a value gaming chassis like no other on the market, and the result of that is Outlaw,” says BitFenix Product Manager David Jarlestedt. “Offering features normally found on chassis twice the price, Outlaw is a gaming case that really does break all the rules.”
