Valve Debuts Dota 2 Gamescom Trailer
Valve says that Dota 2 promises to take the unique blend of online RTS and RPG action to the next level and after looking at the Gamescom trailer we hve to say it does look impressive. Could Dota 2 be one of the biggest games in the world? The trailer below starts out with the Dota 2 shopkeeper introducing you to some of his wares. At the end of the video Valve reminds you that the Dota 2 Championships will be running at Gamescom from August 17th through the 21st where the game will be shown publicly for the first time. Dota 2 is an upcoming action fantasy strategy video game being developed by Valve Corporation. It is the stand-alone sequel to the popular Warcraft III custom map Defense of the Ancients. The title was formally announced on October 13, 2010. The game currently is scheduled for release in 2011, which would make it Valve’s second release of the year, following Portal 2.
