EOLIZE Launches 4-Bay Mini-ITX Case w/ 200W PSU for NAS Servers
EOLIZE is a new name for us here at Legit Reviews, but the German company caught our attention today when they announces a Mini-ITX NAS that has some pretty nice features and a low price tag of 139 EUR (incl. 19% VAT) or just under $200 in USD. The Mini-ITX NAS is being sold under part number SVD-NC11-4 and features four hot-swappable 3.5″ SATA drive bays that also supports 2.5″ SATA drives and does include a 200W power supply. The unit does support the use of 3TB hard drives, so you can have up to 12TB of storage space in this little guy that is just 300 x 200 x 250 mm in size. A total of four Hot-Swap Modules are easy to access behind the front panel. Each Hot-Swap Module is equipped with a lock which can be locked individually and two LEDs for visualization of operation and access of each Hard Drive. Common aftermarket 3.5 (8.89 cm) or 2.5 (6.35 cm) Hard Drives can be mounted inside the Hot-Swap Modules which are compliant with the SATA-II standard. Special backplanes are used to provide support of AHCI (NCQ) and RAID functions. Yet, compatible RAID configurations depend highly on the functions of the Mini-ITX-Motherboard or the built-in RAID Controller.
