AMD Bulldozer Zambezi-FX Processors Launching on September 19th, 2011

The Chinese website MyDrivers.com has posted up some interesting information on the AMD FX-8100, FX-8120, FX-8150 and FX-8170 ‘Bulldozer’ processors today. According to the site, AMD will be releasing two the FX-8100 and FX-8150 in Q3 2011. The exact date is even mentioned, which is 09-19-2011! September 19th, is less than two months away, so it looks like Bulldozer CPUs will be here soon! FX-4100 and FX-6100. The FX-4100 is a Quad Core variant featuring 3.6Ghz Stock speed and can turbo upto 3.8Ghz, Features 8MB L3 Cache, 95W TDP Design, DDR3 1866+ Mhz Support. The other FX-6100 Processor is a Hexa Core (6 Core) Variant featuring 3.3Ghz stock and 3.9Ghz Turbo Core speed, Other specs are similar to the FX-4100 Processor.

AMD FX Zambezi Processor Release Date

MyDrivers has learned that top model for the initial release is the AMD FX-8150 eight-core processor with a core frequency up to 3.6GHz. The processor supports AMD Turbo Core 2.0, Turbo Core frequency up to 4.2GHz, built-in 8MB L2 Cache, 8MB L3 Share Cache, using non-lock frequency of the “black box” design, built-in dual-channel DDR3 memory controller, the maximum frequency: DDR3-1866, TDP is 125W.
