AMD Radeon HD E6760 Video Card Seen at Computex 2011

By

Charlie Demerjian over at SemiAccurate has been busy over at Computex 2011 and has run across a video card that not too many people know about. The card was labelled as an E6760 and looks to be on a development board. We say this as the PCB layout on the card is very different form what you would expect to see on a Radeon HD 6700 series card. The card has both 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors, which means it has 300W of power feeding the GPU, but the GPU has a small single-slot cooler on it.

This card has six video outs, three HDMI and three DVI, something you would not expect in an embedded part. No problem, ATI has six display controllers, so this is a piece of cake, right? Nope. Each DVI and HDMI port takes up two controllers, so with this part, you are limited to three outs, but here we see six. It could be that three are active at any one time, or that all six are for some reason.
