Netflix coming to select Android phones from HTC & Samsung
With current mobile data rates, and many companies moving away from unlimited data plans, even with the more robust and faster “4G” Networks; I have to wonder how successful this move will be for Netflix.
Netflix has been known to bring you streaming just about anywhere in the home that has a game console or computer. Even certain BluRay players feature Netflix Services.
We’ll have to wait and see if it’s a fruitful endeavor for them or not. Personally, I can’t wait till Tablets get this app and I’m allowed to sit on my couch with a 720P tablet watch a show, just to pick it up and watch on the go as well.
Well, it looks like the LG Revolution won’t be the first Android phone to get Netflix after all. The app has just hit the Android Market and is currently available for the HTC Incredible, Nexus One, Evo 4G, and G2, plus the Samsung Nexus S.
