Day 6: Sony PlayStation Network Still Down
Sony looks like it is still struggling to get its PlayStation Network back online. There has been no update since yesterday, when the companies Senior Director of Corporate Communications & Social Media made a post on the PlayStation blog saying they have no idea when the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online again. Sony revealed last week that they took PSN offline to deal with an “external intrusion” and it is unknown if subscribers personal data has been compromised. It looks like game developers are starting to get antsy though as several companies are talking about this outage impacting their bottom line.
I know you are waiting for additional information on when PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online. Unfortunately, I dont have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time. As we previously noted, this is a time intensive process and were working to get them back online quickly. Well keep you updated with information as it becomes available.
