Mozilla Releases Firefox 4.0 RC2 – Final Scheduled For March 22nd

We heard rumors that Mozilla was going to make the first release candidate of Firefox 4 the final version, but those were recently proved flash when the company released RC2 on March 18th. The update is available on the auto updater, but in case you don’t have Firefox installed you can grab Firefox 4.0 RC2 here.
Firefox 4 RC is based on the Gecko 2.0 Web platform. Please read below for more detailed information about what’s new in this version of the release, as well as the known issues. This Firefox 4 RC is considered to be stable and safe to use for daily web browsing, though the features and content may change before the final product release.
