WD TV Live HD Media Player Gets Firmware Update

Western Digital has announced that new firmware is available for their popular WD TV Live HD Media Player! The new software is version 1.04.22_V and it can be downloaded from this site. Updating your media player is simple, but make sure you follow the instructions on their site and don’t unplug your unit or update it during a storm! Power outages are not your friend when flashing a BIOS or updating firmware. New WD TV Live Hub Media Center firmware is out today also, so head here if you have one of those!

  • Supports 7.1 channel audio passthrough.
