8-way SLI and Crossfire Power Supply (PSU) Roundup
Pricing
We have already touched on the pricing for each of these power supplies but thought you would like to see the run-down one more time. Since many of the PSUs tested so far passed our testing without any issues, pricing will be the primary deciding factor for many of our readers. However, don’t forget that in some cases the more you pay now, the longer you can go before your next PSU upgrade and you might even save a few bucks on your electric bill!

When looking at the prices, a few points come to mind. First, the Mushkin XP-650 costs a lot more than its 700W and 750W competition at $209. The AeroCool ZeroDBA 620W is priced a little on the low end at $118, but from our testing, the voltage rails don’t hold up under heavy power consumption. Other than those two units, the pricing is in the same order as the Wattage rating. If you plan on getting a strong PSU that will last you a long time, you will have to spend a little more money up front.
