3DMark 11 World Record Broken By Hazzan With 33190 Points

Famous Indonesian overclocker Hazzan has broken the world record for 3DMark 11 in a performance competition. He beat it by the slimmest of margins, too: just 39 points, a tiny percentage of the 33,151 points scored by J.Lin, making Hazzan’s score 33,190.

Hazzan achieved this record by using the following system, cooled using the obligatory LN2: four Asus DirectCU2 GTX 680s (quad SLI), Intel i7-3930K SB-E CPU at 5.784GHz, 8GB DDR3 overclocked to 2480MHz. These components were plugged into an Asus Rampage IV motherboard and the whole lot was run off two Antec High Current Pro 1300W power supplies. The graphics cards were of course overclocked and to a very high GPU clock speed too of 1706MHz with memory at 1800MHz (7200 effective).
