$150 Motorola Atrix 4G to Hit Shelves by Valentines Day?

By

Reports are starting to trickle out about the availability of the newest and most powerful phone from Motorola, the Motorola Atrix 4G. The rumors are stating that we will see the Atrix 4G in AT&T stores by February 14, 2011 at a cost of $150. We saw the Atrix at this years CES and were hoping that AT&T and Motorola werent being coy when they announced the first dual-core phone would be available before the end of Q1. Along with the Motorola Atrix 4G, the Samsung Infuse 4G is expected to launch at the same time. Of course AT&Ts move towards more Android devices are in response to Verizon Wireless offing the iPhone.

The upcoming Atrix 4G smartphone from Motorola has just had its price leaked recently, thanks to Costco with a $149.99 sticker slapped onto it. This does seem to be the standard discount among retailers at launch, as Amazon also recently posted a product page displaying a similar price point. Frankly, we will not complain or gripe about the sticker price tag since you do get some pretty high end specifications such as a 4-inch display, a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM and the Android operating system, and that used to cost at least $50 more when subsidized.
