When looking for a gaming keyboard, one of the first questions we ask is: is it mechanical? It isnt necessary to have when gaming and for the casual gamer, were content with using the microsoft keyboard that comes stock with our pre-built computers that we bought just to play League of Legends and Club Penguin. One of their new additions to their peripheral lineup is the Thermaltake MEKA Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard retailing for $89.99 shipped on Amazon along with the two year warranty.
The Tt eSPORT MEKA Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, retailing for $89.99 is somewhat on the less expensive side but still up in the price ranges, falling between the prices of Corsairs STRAFE Mechanical keyboard ($79.99) and HyperX Gamings Alloy FPS Mechanical keyboard ($99.99).

When opening up the package, revealing the keyboard, I immediately noticed the heft of the box. Assuming majority of the weight isnt coming from the cardboard, I figured this seems to feel pretty heavy duty.
Upon opening the package, the keyboard was wrapped in a foam plastic wrap with the warranty card and instruction booklet resting on the keyboard. There isnt too much support for the Tt eSPORT MEKA Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard besides the cardboard box but this didnt prove to be problematic as the keyboard is built with a heavy-duty and durable plastic.
