Synology recently announced the latest offering in its DiskStation lineup of network attached storage. The DS411 is the successor to the popular DiskStation DS410. The DS411 is a 4-bay server that the company says is perfect for small office environments. Businesses will appreciate the hardware encryption assist to boost speeds when encrypting folders. Even though it will debut under $500, it still offers uncompromising performance, giving users the performance they need at a reasonable price; boasting read speeds of 105.3 MB/s and write speeds of 47.8 MB/s under RAID 5 configuration in a Windows environment.
