Valve has released a documentary covering the endearing and challenging lives of three of the most prominent Dota 2 players on the scene. If you missed the viewing a couple days ago on, Valve has made the film available for free on Youtube and also as a download through Steam in the same fashion as ‘Indie Game the Movie’.

With Dota 2 being one of today’s most widely followed e-sports arenas, Valve no doubt hopes to generate more interest in the game. Aside from the film being an excellent advertisement and touching narrative, more paying customers would mean larger prize pools for the game as it follows in CounterStrike’s steps with crowd-funded tournament payouts based on players’ in-game purchases.
