Santa Monica, Calif. – November 11, 2013 – For the best in the world, it’s not a past time – it’s a profession. Saturday night in Anaheim, California, 20-year old Kim “sOs” Yoo Jin took the title in the WCS Finals – the World Championship Series, the true “SuperBowl” of StarCraft II. At Red Bull Battle Grounds on November 23 & 24 in New York City, eight of the best professional players of Blizzard Entertainment’s award-winning real-time strategy game, StarCraft® II will compete for $50K in prizes and title of Red Bull Battle Grounds champion.

Once WCS Champion ‘sOs’ has accepted the invitation, he will join the full roster of Red Bull Battle Grounds contenders, each one earning their spot through their performance at past events. Red Bull Battle Grounds 2012 Winner Jang ‘MC’ Min Chul returns to face off against last year’s runner up – Choi ‘Bomber’ Ji Sung, who is hungry for the win. Red Bull Training Grounds champions Jo ‘Golden’ Myeong Hwan and Jens ‘Snute’ Aasgaard have been through the training grounds ropes, but how will they fare on Red Bull Battle Grounds stage?
