Overwatch Patch Brings Changes for Lucio and Mercy
Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it has launched a new update for Overwatch and that update brings with it some changes to some characters in the game. The two characters most affected by the update are Lucio and Mercy. For Lucio, the update brings a 65% boost to his speed after a wall-ride.
For Mercy her Valkyrie and Resurrect abilities have been changed. After the new update is applied Mercy’s Guardian Angel no longer resets when using Resurrect. When players activate Valkyrie the cooldown or Resurrect is no longer reduced or resets it on activation.
To make up for these changes to Mercy, Blizzard did give two charges for Resurrect allowing Mercy to revive two players. Blizzard also added more voice lines for Zenyatta for his Cultist skin. Players can also now set social status for the game to online, away, busy, or offline when on PC.
The patch notes also show that a bug was fixed for Mercy that prevented her momentum from slowing down correctly when Guardian Angel was canceled. Another bug fixed was for Sombra and fixed an issue with the Pumpkinette victory pose not displaying correctly reports Gamingbolt.
