NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet w/ 4G LTE and 32GB of Storage Available
NVIDIA just let us know that the new 32GB SHIELD tablet with 4G LTE is now available to consumers via retail and e-tail. The NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra K1 SoC with 192 GPU cores and has enough graphics and performance to play all the tablet game titles, while also being a great processor for a tablet in general
This version of SHIELD tablet is the same as the Wi-Fi only SHIELD tablet with addition of twice as much storage space and 4G LTE. That means more games and more movies, music, photos and your favorite apps. And with 4G LTE, all that is available on the go.
As an unlocked device, the SHIELD tablet with 32GB and LTE capabilities is compatible with more than 70 carriers worldwide. In the US, its certified on AT&Ts 4G LTE network, so its ready for you to activate and take virtually anywhere. This new version retails for $399, or on contract for $299. AT&T said that the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet will not stocked at retail locations, but you can order it online or at the store and have it shipped to you. You can also order it at shield.nvidia.com, Amazon, Best Buy, Frys Electronics, GameStop, Micro Center, Newegg and Tiger Direct in the US; and at many top e-tailers in Europe.
