Looking over the provided information, we can quickly see that the GTX 1070 has an increased number of CUDA cores and memory capabilities; which is to be expected. The technology that it supports is pretty similar to the previous generation, with a few noteable updates; Multi-Projection is a new technology to the Pascal chipset; GPU Boost, OpenGL and the Bus has been updated to current standards. With increased power comes increased display support, the Pascal chipset now supports DP 1.4, HDMI 2.0b and an increased maximum resolution of 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz!
From the looks of it, NVIDIA GTX 1070 should provide a nice boost in performance compared to the previous generation. Unfortunately, right now, we do not have a street date or even an estimated price for the latest NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card. NVIDIA does have a notification system in place for when the cards can be obtained, go to the GTX 1070 site and sign-up if you are interested in getting one as soon as possible.
That’s about all the information that is currently available, as we learn more we’ll be sure to pass it along.
