NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z Coming In May?

By

Last night we posted up that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z might be delayed, but noted that NVIDIA never said when exactly the card would launch. Overnight we were tipped off by a reader that a certain AIB announced the card yesterday by accident and quickly pulled down the PR. A good number of sites/forums have posted up the PR and discovered that the Google Cache is still available. In that press release it stated that the GeForce GTX Titan Z dual GPU graphics card would be available worldwide starting April 29th, 2014 and that is where the delay rumor originated from. So, where the delay rumor started has been figured out.

This does give us the rare opportunity to see what changes, if any, that NVIDIA will be doing to this card. Will NVIDIA be changing the clock speeds? The press release noted the GeForce GTX Titan Z would have a base clock of 705MHz and a boost clock of 876MHz, so we will have to see. Some forum users are saying that the new launch date will be May 8th. We have no clue as NVIDIA has always told us that the card will be launched later this year.
