Nintendo Takes the V Out of VR with Pokemon GO

E3 Nintendo
One game that I am personally excited for, as I am sure any die hard Pokemon fan would be, is Pokemon GO. Nintendo takes the V out of VR (Virtual Reality) games and just leaves the R. Classified as a RWA game or Real World Adventure game, Pokemon GO is not only the first of its kind but also a game that interacts with the real world; bringing the life of Pokemon literally to our very own backyards. The game however will not be released on any console, but instead on Android and iPhone this late July. Pokemon Go will be free to play with in app purchases for those who so choose to spend their money to gain a better more fun experience. So how does this game work?

Simply put, once you download the game, players will be able to customize their trainer, battle and even join teams to take down gym leaders together. As you enter into the world of Pokemon, or rather, as Pokemon enter our world we learn more about them (just like with any other Pokemon game) through the Pokedex. Pokemon have literally been released in our world but the catch about it is that you can only find certain Pokemon in certain locations around the world.

Pokmon GO for Android Smartphones and iPhone Announced for 2016
Alongside the Pokemon GO app is Pokemon GO Plus, an accessory for the game that allows players to do simple task like catching Pokemon or notifying you when a Pokemon is nearby. The accessory comes with a Bluetooth feature so that it can connect to our smartphones and also comes with vibration capabilities to notify us when we arent looking. The point of the accessory is to be able to use some of the features of the game without having to look directly at your smartphone. When Pokemon GO and Pokemon Go Plus releases next month Pokemon Go Plus will have a market price of $34.99. For more information and updates you can access the Pokemon Go website here.
