Refurbished 4th-gen iPad and iPad Mini now for sale at the Apple Store
Apple has recently listed refurbished 4th generation iPads and iPad Minis on the Apple store. The currently listed 4th gen iPads with Retina Display are the 16 GB black for $449 ($599 new) and 16 GB w/ cellular in two colors - black and white - for $579 ($629 new.)
The currently listed iPad Minis are the 32 GB black & slate for $389 ($429 new) and 16 GB w/ cellular in two colors - black & slate and white & silver - for $429 ($459 new.) I don't think these are great deals, but it seems like a few models have sold out since the listings went live.
All refurbished iPads have a new battery and outer shell. They are tested and certified to operate and carry the same 1-year warranty offered with a brand-new iPad.
