Full-Cover Water Block for Asus MATRIX 7970 on the Way From EK Water Blocks

EK Water Blocks, the Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is working on a new full-cover water block for the ASUS premium Republic of Gamers series MATRIX 7970 graphics cards (both Platinum MATRIX-HD7970-P-3GD5 and regular MATRIX-HD7970-3GD5 editions).

Asus Matrix 7970 bare board

The upcoming EK-FC7970 MATRIX water block will directly cool the GPU, RAM as well as VRMs (voltage regulator modules) as water will flow directly over these critical areas, thus allowing the graphics card and its VRMs to remain stable when highly overclocked. EK-FC7979 MATRIX water block will also features a very high flow design therefore it could easily be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

The water block will be available for purchase through the EK Webshop and retail outlets by late February 2013.
