CES 2013- Debut of CHIPS Wireless Drop-In Audio System for Helmets
Outdoor Technology creators of cutting edge action lifestyle accessories debuts their wireless drop-in audio system that works universally for all helmets with audio enabled liners called CHIPS at CES 2013. Outdoor Technology CHIPS will allow users to listen to their favorite music and make calls without taking their helmets off by dropping this easy to use technology into the slots inside a helmet liner. The CHIPS audio device will available April 2013 in Chile, Australia and New Zealand and winter 2013 everywhere else for $129.95.
“The CHIPS are a game changer, we solved a problem with a simple solution that changes the game for the hundreds millions who ski or board with helmets with no good audio system,” said Caro Krissman, Co-Founder and CEO. “Why have annoying wires and small buttons hanging from your helmet or no audio at all when you can be totally connected yet unplugged with simple easy to use controls.”
