Club 3D Unveils HD 7870 2GB jokerCard With Limited Edition Enhanced Performance 1536 SP GPU

Club 3D today has unveiled its HD 7870 jokerCard, an enhanced version of the reference HD 7870. A standard HD 7870's GPU features just 1280 stream processors, while this limited edition GPU features 1536, 20% more, giving it an inherent performance advantage. However, the GPU is clocked at 925MHz, with a Boost clock of 975MHz, which is under that of a reference HD 7870's 1GHz. The memory clock is increased from 4.8GHz effective, to 6GHz effective, however. Club 3D claims that the card offers 15% better performance than a standard NVIDIA GTX 660. The card features Club 3D's non-reference CoolStream technology for better than reference cooling with less noise and is fully UEFI compliant. Full details are available at the link below.

The Club 3D Radeon HD 7870 jokerCard is the first graphic card to come UEFI compliant out of the box (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface). UEFI has been around for a while, Windows 8 is the first operating system to take advantage of the features that UEFI has to offer, allowing for amazingly quick booting times of the operating system, with the new Windows 8 being by up to 5 seconds faster compared to Windows 7.
