Verizon Launching Samsung Galaxy Stellar Smartphone on September 6th

Verizon Wireless has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Stellar smartphone. The handset will be joining the entry line of Android devices. In fact, it will be free with a 2-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate. The Samsung Galaxy Stellar was designed to be compact and easy to use. It has two interface options - Starter Mode and Standard Mode. Starter Mode gives customers a simplified home screen display with preset widgets such as Favorite Apps, Favorite Contacts and Favorite Settings for quick and easy access to frequently used apps and setting. Standard Mode provides users with a more conventional layout and gives customers the traditional Android experience. Not a bad feature to have at this price point! It also looks like a solid phone with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a microSD slot for expansion!
