Awesome Far Cry 3 Gameplay Video From PAX 2012
GamesRadar attended PAX 2012, where Ubisoft had PCs set up to play the upcoming Far Cry 3 action game (release date confirmed to be November 30 in the UK). GamesRadar then managed to get in 15 minutes of playtime with the game, recording it in the process. This allowed the game's lush graphics to be shown off and the overall feel of the game to be demonstrated. The game has a huge world map, with just a twentieth of it available in the demo.
The view from the top of the ramshackle radio tower at the start of the game is impressive, giving a sense of vertigo. Also, when the character drives the jeep, it's motion is natural, obeying the laws of physics well. Also, an increased sense of realism is given by the accurately animated arms and hands moving the steering wheel, just as one would see their own move when driving a real car.
