Zalman About To Release Goldrock Series PSUs
Korean company Zalman, well known for their high quality CPU coolers and system cases, is about to launch the Goldrock series of 80 Plus certified PSUs. Available in capacities of 550W, 650W and 750W and sporting efficiencies between 87% and 92% with a 20-100% load, these PSUs are aimed at enthusiasts who are looking for good quality, yet good value power supplies.
All models have a single 12V rail and are guaranteed to deliver their full rated output power with chassis environmental temperatures up to 40C. The 105C Japanese solid state capacitors deliver superb performance and stability under stressful conditions. They also have smart fan control for minimum noise and heavy duty protection to guard against short circuits and overloads. Prices are expected to be around $134 for the ZM550-XG, $145 for the ZM650-XG and $158 for the ZM750-XG.
