Razer BlackWidow Series Gets New Editions & Enhancements

Razer, a world leader in high-performance gaming hardware, has just announced the latest versions of its BlackWidow family which includes two improved models and an all new edition. The first major update in the series is the Razer BlackWidow 2013, which now has heightened anti-ghosting and Razer Synapses 2.0 cloud technology. The anti-ghosting function is what enthusiasts will be interested in, with 10 simultaneous key presses possible in game mode. Razer didn't go wrong with looks either, having used an anti-fingerprint matte black finish for the surface. The BlackWidow Ultimate 2013 is the top tier keyboard from Razer for enthusiasts when it comes to this series. It has the same 10 simultaneous key presses in game mode, but also offers tactile feedback and an enriched green blacklight. That covers the two major updates, the new edition to the series would be the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition. It's a mechanical keyboard, with a simple elegant design made for portability. It has had its numpad stripped to achieve this, allowing for a light and compact layout. All three of these versions come in standard and Stealth versions, with Stealth offering brown mechanical switches. The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013 will retail for $139.99, the BlackWidow 2013 will go for $99.99 and of course the BlackWidow Tournament Edition will be $79.99. All three will be availble for purchase starting in August on Razerzone.com. For more info check the BlackWidow minisite or our forums linked below.
