PoV Announces the POV/TGT GeForce GTX 680 'BEAST/Backplate'

Point of View have announced the immediate availability of their POV/TGT GeForce GTX 680 "BEAST/Backplate", featuring a significantly enhanced version of POV/TGT's award winning proprietary high-performance/wide-bandwidth hardware design running at a base clock of 1162MHz and an average boost clock of 1228MHz. The POV/TGT GeForce GTX 680 "BEAST/Backplate" also benefits from advanced power management for auto-overclocking up to around 1280MHz. A very efficient combination of triple fan cooling and a TGT cooling backplate guarantees utmost stability and cooling efficiency even beyond TGT's official specifications.

The POV/TGT GeForce GTX 680 "BEAST"/Backplate is available now at an expected street price of around € 560 inc VAT. More information is available at the link below.

First independent reviews already published on the net confirm performance and cooling efficiency:

"Point of View \ TGT GTX 680 Beast has arrived and we can finally confirm it is the fastest factory overclocked GTX 680 card." ... "GPU temperatures didn't exceed 71 degrees Celsius in Crysis 2, which is an excellent score considering the fans remained almost inaudible, even in long gaming sessions. The cooler did an excellent job despite the incredibly hot weather in Austria as of late."
