Akasa Cavalry Mid-Tower Chassis Makes An Appearance

Akasa looks to be bringing the Cavalry mid-tower chassis to market soon. This new entry-level mid-tower has quite a few things going for it. To start off the company has painted the tower black, both inside and out. The chassis measures 180 x 370 x 418 mm (7.1 x 14.6 x 16.5 inches) and weighs in at 5 kgs (11 lbs). The Cavalry's frame is contructed out of steel, while the front is made of ABS plastic. The chassis will feature two 5.25 inch bays and five total 3.5 inch bays (4 internal 1 external) meanwhile, the control panel features two USB 2.0 ports along with power and reset switches. Sadly USB 3.0 is not featured. The Cavalry's cooling will be handled by a 120mm red led fan in front serving as an intake with an 80mm rear fan being used as an exhaust at the rear of the case. Akasa has also included the option to install a 120mm fan via the side panel as well. The Akasa Cavalry looks to be a solid option for those looking to build a value oriented gaming rig and will come priced at €29.90 at launch.
