Intel Ivy Bridge Launch Confirmed: Chips Available For Purchase April 29th

Intel's Ivy Bridge processors have seen a couple delays so far, but the launch date of April 29th has been confirmed with chips available for purchase, according to CPU World. April 8th of course will be the date Intel announces the Z77, Z75, H77 and B75 chipsets, which we reported on back in February. After that on April 22nd and 28th Intel will announce the Ivy Bridge processors, with said chips available for purchase on the 29th. The CPUs available at launch will consist of the desktop Core i7-3770k, i7-3770T, i7-3770S, i7-3770, Core i5-3570k, i5-3570T, i5-3550s, i5-3550, i5-3450 and i5-3450S. The only mobile chips available at launch will be the Core i7-3920XM, i7-3820QM and i7-3720QM.

Ivy Bridge Launch Lineup
The rest of the Core i5 lineup and Core i5 dual-core mobile processors will arrive June 3rd. The below chart showcases all chips that should be introduced on that date. More info available at the source.

Core i3 desktop Ivy Bridge parts will be introduced in the third quarter 2012. There was a rumor that Core i3 mobile lineup will not be transitioned to Ivy Bridge. We believe that Core i3 mobiles will be released after all. VR-Zone previously disclosed details on Core i3-3217U ULV SKU, and there will be at least one Core i3 mobile 35W CPU. Mobile chips from i3 family will also launch in the third quarter. Incomplete list of upcoming Core i3 models you will find below:
