MSI packages the Z97I Gaming AC mITX motherboard in a simple but eye catching box. The front of the box doesn’t provide a huge amount of information; identifying the model and the Wi-Fi capabilities. Nothing else is mentioned about the motherboard on the front.

Flipping the box over, we find that MSI has packed this side with a good amount of information. A couple of key features are called out with some detail (Audio Boost 2, Killer E2200 NIC, USB Audio Power), the motherboard specifications and rear I/O plate is detailed. Finally some of the value added software is mentioned.

Opening the box, we find the motherboard; which has been placed in an anti-static bag.

Beneath the motherboard tray we find the accessory bundle.

At first glance it looks like there are a large number of accessories. For documentation, MSI has included a door hanger, two DVD’s with drivers and software, quick installation guide, large case badge, and a larger detailed installation manual. For the hardware included with the accessories, we have two SATA III cables, the rear I/O shield, removable Wi-Fi AC module, a pair of antenna’s and Wi-Fi module screw.
