Wind U100 Introduction and Specifications

Today, we have the opportunity to look at the MSI Wind U100 series netbook. This netbook boasts LED power-saving backlight technology, magnifying capability, and “Insert Mold Roller Technology” (IMR) to protect the netbook from scratches and fingerprints. The Wind U100 is 7.08 x 10.23 inches, and only weighs 2.3 pounds, so it is ultra portable for users on the go.

Box and Bundle

The design of the box is simple and elegant that leaves the buyer with the impression of wind floating across the sky.

In order to keep costs down, MSI has created a bare-minimum bundle to go with their Wind U100 netbooks. There is a recovery DVD, a DVD with Drivers, Utilities and the Manual, a Quick-Start Guide, and a CE Compliance Booklet. There is also a “stylish protecting bag” that comes with the Wind U100 netbooks that was not sent to us with the test system.
