MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO Leaked Images

By

VideoCardz has images of what they claim to be a custom NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card from MSI. The images show an MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO 11GB GDDR6 retail box and a dual-slot graphics card. The card has a triple-fan GPU cooler design that is topped off with some fancy RGB lighting. The card features the new Type-C VirtualLink connector, NVLink and two PCIe power connectors. Who knows if these images are real, but it looks like NVIDIA is getting close to launching a Turing GPU based graphics card for gamers. It seems odd that the first card to launch will be the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti video card as usually NVIDIA would launch something like the 2080 model first and then roll out the 2080 Ti at a later date when the AMD Radeon team might have something to release. We can’t wait to see how this all plays out in the days to come. We expect some big news to happen at Gamescom 2018.

Someone in the VideoCardz comments also posted what they claim is the Turing TU104-400A-A1 GPU. This is the first time that we’ve seen it. Note that the card has an 8-pin PCIe power connector, but only 6-pins are being used. Interesting!
