Intel Turbo Boost Monitor Application Now Available

Intel has now posted a link to their Turbo Boost Technology Monitor application here. This Windows Sidebar gadget provides a status of the Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and notifies the user when applications request a boost in performance. The Turbo Boost technology allows you to run the processor core faster than the marked frequency if the part is operating under the limits of the Thermal Design Power (TDP). Intel, which has been demoing the app for the past few weeks, is just now making this app publicly available.
