Intel CEO Brian Krzanich Resigns After Relationship with Employee

Intel CEO Brian Krzanich has resigned after learning past consensual relationship with employee did violate Intels non-fraternization policy. Krzanich has been the CEO of Intel since May 2013 and is married to Brandee Krzanich with whom he has two daughters. He first started working at Intel as an analytical engineer in 1982. Intel has already removed his biography from its website this morning. It was not disclosed when the relationship occurred or who inside Intel that the relationship was with. Brian Krzanich promised that 2018 would be a year of change for the company in a letter to employees in 2017 and he was right!

“Intel was recently informed that Mr. Krzanich had a past consensual relationship with an Intel employee. An ongoing investigation by internal and external counsel has confirmed a violation of Intels non-fraternization policy, which applies to all managers. Given the expectation that all employees will respect Intels values and adhere to the companys code of conduct, the board has accepted Mr. Krzanichs resignation.”
