G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 Memory Reaches 4400MHz – New World Record!
G.SKILL announced today that they have recaptured the top spot from Corsair when it comes to having the fastest memory frequency in the world. The new record stands at 4400MHz in single channel mode and done with a 4GB G.SKILL TridentX memory module running 13-31-31-45 timings. The record breaking run was done by TeamAU and they used liquid nitrogen on both the G.SKILL TridentX memory module and the Intel Core i7-4770K ‘Haswell’ processor. The group used the ASUS Maximus VI Impact motherboard.
Using 4th Generation Intel Core i7 4770K, ASUS Maximus 6 Impact and a steady flow of LN2, professional overclocker James YoungPro Trevaskis from TeamAU were able to push the factory spec G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 3000MHz C12 4GB stick to the worlds fastest DDR3 4400MHz CL13!
