The Exiled MMORPG To Be Released on February 23rd

Since the 1990s we have seen a number of Massively multiplayer online role-playing games – or MMORPGs – hit the market, each with something unique to offer the gaming community. In 1997 EA Games delivered the first mainstream MMORPG , Ultima Online, with intense PvP (player versus player), requiring skills that range from Swordsmanship and Mining to Hiding and Camping (which is basically lighting small camp fires). In 2004 Blizzard Entertainment gave the gaming community World of Warcraft (the worlds most played MMORPG). Now in 2017 The Exiled merges the style of sandbox MMOs and the combat that we see in our popular MOBA titles such as League of Legends and DOTA.

The developers at Fairytale Distillery wanted to develop a game that offers gamers who love PvP into a universe wherein there is no grinding, no pay for power, and a fun and well rounded Action-MMO. The game features full friendly fire, therefore players must be very careful not to attack their opponents. In the event that a player is killed, the player can be fully looted.

To keep things fresh, Fairytale Distillery designed The Exiled to be constantly changing. As a result, the game modes change after weeks or months. These worlds will end in a huge game event before the maps/worlds are reset.

With this said, we’re excited to see where this game is headed. The game will be available on Steam when its release and will sell for a starting price of $19.99 USD. The Exiled is set to release on February 23rd, 2017.
