CyberPower Fangbook X7-200 Memory Performance & Battery Life

Sisoftware Sandra 2011 SP5

The latest Sisoftware Sandra benchmark utility just came out a few weeks ago and we have started to include it in our benchmarking. Sandra 2012 comes with support for Virtualisation (Virtual PC/Server, Hyper-V, VMware) and GPGPU (OpenCL, DirectX 11 DirectCompute), but today we will be using the program to look at memory and CPU performance!

SiSoftware Sandra Memory Bandwidth Results

Benchmark Results: The ASUS G75VW was able to take a slight lead in the SiSoftware Sandra Memory Bandwidth benchmark. With the aggregate performance of the ASUS G75VW hitting 20.68GB/s compared to the Cyberpower Fangbook X7-200 aggregate of 20.452GB/s, the difference is negligible but measurable nevertheless.

Cyberpower PC Fangbook X7-200 Battery Life

Truth being told, I wasn’t sure what kind of battery life to expect from the Fangbook X7-200 when running futuremark Powermark. Needless to say I was plenty pleased with the performance! The Fangbook X7-200 is a gaming machine that happens to be in the package of a portable notebook, with that I thought that it would be slightly less power efficient that it is. The Fangbook X7-200 was able to last 2 hours and 24 minutes under the load that Powermark puts the system under. The ultrabooks haven’t even lasted this long, with the exception of one. The Cyberpower Zeus M2 lasted 2 hours and 58 minutes.
