3DMark Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and DirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests, several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMark Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed specifically to take full advantage of DirectX10, the new graphics API from Microsoft. The Performance settings were used for testing, so a resolution of 1280×1024 was used.

Results: Since we did not have any other comparable systems that we had 3DMark Vantage run against, we are just telling you the results instead of creating a fancy graph with a single result. The ASUS UL50Vf scored an E4580 on the entry preset test. This included a 3389 on the CPU score and a 5188 on the GPU score. For the performance preset, the UL50Vf scored a P1033 which is comprised of a 3478 on the CPU score and an 837 on the GPU score.
