Today we take a look at the newest cutting-edge router to be released by Cisco/Linksys.  The Linksys EA6500 Smart Wi-Fi AC1750 router is a dual-band wireless router based on the fastest Wi-Fi technology, 802.11ac.  The router combines cutting-edge hardware with a platform based on cloud-technology so that users can use this hardware with their Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account for enhanced features and flexibility.

With the holidays fast approaching, many users are looking for gear that will update their current network infrastructure.  Older routers just do not have the throughput to keep up with much of the modern technology that is showing up more and more in the home.  If you are looking to stream high-definition video to multiple screens, or download large files via Bittorrent, then you will definitely be interested in the speeds that 802.11ac provides.
